Sequential indicators, often called dynamic turn signals, are turn lights on a car that illuminate in a progressive pattern rather than all at once. Instead of flashing together, the lights "flow" in the direction of the turn signal, usually starting from the inside edge and moving outward.
When activated, the LED lights within the indicator light up in a timed sequence, creating a "wave" effect that is visually striking. This sweeping light motion usually completes in under a second but is highly noticeable.
Sequential indicators started in high-end cars but are becoming more common in regular models as the technology becomes widely adopted.
